SpringFest: (n). An annual event that serves as a day of
community pride, fun, music and food.
The Chino Valley Parks, Recreation, and Senior Services Department has partnered with various
sponsors, vendors, and entertainers to produce a fun-filled, free, experience for the community. Coming up on its sixth year of existence, the SpringFest has boasted an attendance of nearly 3,000 people in past years.
Activities Include:
- Box Races 12:00 pm
- Hula-Hoop Competition 12:45 pm
- Skate Jam Competition 1:00 - 3:00 pm (in the Skate Park)
- Cup Stacking Competition 1:30 pm
- SPAM Carving Contest 2:45 pm
- Duct Tape Fashion Show 4:30 pm
- Sky Sculpture ALL DAY

Profits from this event are used to benefit one group or organization each year.
2009 Beneficiary: Chino Valley Recreational Foundation
The Recreational Foundation will be helping out with parking, so please give them a donation as you come through.
They will also be running the Beer Garden. Please give them a visit and help them raise money for future Recreation needs.
Previous beneficiaries include:
- 2004: Chino Valley High School Band
- 2005: Mingus Springs Charter School
- 2006: Boys and Girls Club
- 2008: Chino Area Partnership
